One day you were told to make a house with only 5 trees, And from one tree you can cut out 40 pieces of logs with length of 67 cm and width with 15 cm. And the house that you are going to make have surface area of 191,000 square cm. Would you have enough trees? If yes, then how many cm is left over? If no then how many more would you need? Also after you made the house u want to make a roof of that house with 1207 bricks, one brick have length of 23 cm and width of 11 cm. And your roof is going to be 400,100 square cm. Is there enough bricks? If there is not enough, then how many more do u need?
ReplyDeletethere is enough trees and there will be 10,000 cm left.

Under a great ambitious leader ‘Kim Jeong Il’, the People’s Republic of North Korea is planning to build yet simple but gigantic tanks. The tanks are named “monster tanks”. The tank’s structure is like this; there are 4 identical spheres with each having a diameter of 1.752m. They are stuck to the body of the tank. The body of the tank is a rectangular prism, its width 12.625m, length 8.765m, and height of 3.1265m. The cannon stuck to the body of the tank is a cylinder. Its base has a diameter of 2.802m and its height is 7.985m. The ministry of defense is planning to build exactly 800 monster tanks. Using pi for 3.14, find the volume of all the tanks in cubic millimeter.

A bank robber is going to use his daughter's robot to stuff as many gold coins as possible in it. The robot is made up of 2 prism ears that measure 4 cm by 4 cm with the height of 4, and a head that measures 12 cm by 12 cm with the height of 12. The body of the robot is 16 cm by 16 cm with the height of 20 cm. The arms are 2 cones that has a height of 5 and the radius measures 1.5 cm. The legs are 2 cylinders that has a diameter of 4 and the height of 6. If a gold coin has a radius of 2 cm, and a height of 1 cm, how many gold coins can fit in the robot?
ReplyDeleteAnswer: about 569 gold coins

Mathematician, 'Archimedes' was assigned by King Edward, of Prism Land, to find the volume of his body because he thought that a King should know his own body's information. Archimedes knew that his own body volume is 48 cubic meters. Surprisingly, the next day, when he went to the bath, he found the King! The King who was holding his precious jewelry of 20 cubic meters, invited the mathematician to the bath of 157 cubic meters. After the mathematician and the King with his accessories entered the bath, there was 15 cubic meters of water left in the bath. If so, how much cubic meters is the King???
ReplyDeleteA; King Edward is 74 cubic meters

ReplyDeleteTim the 2 boxed robot wants to make mini robots of his in scale proportion of 3 so that they can walk around and hold his water inside of them for Tim. The dimension of the base of tim Tim are:
ReplyDeleteLength: 2466 ft
Height: 4776 ft
Depth: 8892 ft
The dimensions of Tim's head are:
Length: 24
Height: 21

What would the surface area of Tim and his mini robot be?
What would be the volume of Tim and his mini robot?
About how much water would the robot hold if Tim had drunken 2/3
from it?
Answer: Surface area of Tim: 104770417812 ft2
Surface area of mini Tim: 4167112032 ft2
Volume of Tim: 104726582208 ft3
Volume of mini Tim: 3885206808 ft3
When mini Tim has only a third of himself filled with water h will be...
