Finals

This is the first time that you have ever had to take a final exam. Name at least two ways that you will prepare for your mathematics final.

  1. I will study and i will ask questions of what i dont understand.

  2. I think that maybe you could give us a study session type of game, like we did last time. writing questions of a section of chapters 1~5 and solve them going around in a circle. It could help us prepare, get us extra credit points, and would be fun :)

  3. I would review the chapters and redo the questions that i've gotten wrong and pick hard questions from the textbook as well, which i will be going to answer.

  4. Since this is the first time for me to take the final exam so one way to study for the math test is to go over the problems that i got wrong on the homework or test. And the other way to study is to do some problems that i am not good at to practice more of those.

  5. I think we should play the game where everyone solves the problem on a piece of paper and we get points for the ones we get correct. But in that game, we should also mark down the ones where we got wrong and the ones the we got wrong the most we will solve them on the board. Another thing I will do is I will look over the chapters and pick 2 or 3 of the most difficult ones and solve the practice problems there.

  6. The two ways that I will prepare for my mathematics final are the following ways:
First of all, I will go to every sections of every chapter we have learned, and attempt to solve some of the word questions. Because word questions are often hard to manage than questions with no words even if you have a fundamental comprehension of concepts.
Secondly, I will review my previous tests or quizzes. Since they are tests and quizzes, they will perchance have similar form of questions to final exam. Also, I can study the mistakes I've made in order to prevent further mistakes.

  7. Maybe I could go over my homeworks and then find out what I was getting wrong. Or I could go to a site where it could tell me the way to solve a chapter that I have problems. Olleh~ Internet.. Anyways and I really need to review the textbook over again.

  8. I will study each section and quiz myself on the things i am not really sure of. Then I will Ask my family members the questions i am not sure of.

I will go over each section solving about 3 word problems since I have trouble with word problems. If I get it wrong, and don't know why I got it wrong, I would ask. I will also go over tests and solve the questions I got wrong again.

  10. I'm going to go over the homework we did and review study guide you gave us. I will also solve some challenging questions. This time going to focus on word problems of all the chapter. If I finished reviewing, I'm going to solve previous test again. This is my plan for the final.

  11. The first way that I will prepare is to chose 2~3 problems from each section that I think are hard and try to solve them. Another way that I wil prepare for the finals are to take all the chapter tests for each chapter per day, so I will be perfectly prepared and ready.

  12. Since Mr. Jobe gave us a study guide for us to study for the Finals, and have a clue on what will come out on the Final, I guess I will use the study guide. How? First of all, I will just go to the pages that is written on the stuy guides and see the problems. If there is a problem I don't know, I can try to email Mr.Jobe or ask someone who's AWFULLY good. Another way for me to study with the study guide is ask one of my friends of family member to write some random problem from the textbook and make me answer them. That can be some mini quiz or something like that and then I will be at least a bit ready for the Finals.

  13. If you give us like a study guide formed like a final test, it would be good for us to study. Also, looking over all the tests is one of the method I will use. I will solve one-two queestions from each section and solve all the questions I got wrong

  14. I will study each of the sections and look over the the tests. Then I will solve some important questions from the textbook. Also, I can make a similar questions to the questions that are in the tests.

  15. I will prepare the math final by practicing more problems and look over handouts, test, quizes, and projects.
For example, I will look over each section carefully, and solving some simple problems and more word problems. I will also, look back at tests and quizes and go over what I got wrong and retry thoses problems again and again. This way, I can know my mistakes and not repeat my error.

    Thank You

  16. Since this is the first final exam that I am taking, I will try harder. The two ways would be to look up the textbook briefly and solve the problems on the review or chapter test. The second way would be to check the six tests that we took before and correct what my mistake was.

  17. I should review the questions that I missed. Also, I should review the sections that I did not quite understand. (I can also use the eBook 'Practice, Practice, Practice' and review the questions)

  18. I think the most important way to study for my math final is to look over my previous tests and go through the problems and focus especially on the ones that I missed.
Another way is to look at the beginning of each chapter and read over the main concepts while going over the example problems to make sure I understand them very well.

    1) To look over the wrong answers on previous homeworks and tests.

    2) Take a few problems out of every section or chapter we have done so far and do about 5 problems to 10 problems each section. Review all formulas and mathematical solutions
